As we will soon be spending a weekend in Linz, we have already had a look around the former heavy industry metropolis on the Danube. 🧜‍♀️

This weekend, the Veggie Planet fair 🫑🥬🍅 is running until 18:00 at Tabakfabrik - a must-go for all vegans and vegetarians(https://www.veggie-planet.at/).

The Ars Electronica Center and Lentos Museum are a must-see for art lovers in Linz. 🖌️

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Traun-Donau-Auen nature reserve extends right into the city area and you can enjoy wonderful pebble beaches and plenty of greenery. 🦆🐟

🍽️ You can eat well in many places in Linz, such as the uferei, a restaurant on the Donaulände, where the main ingredients come from a radius of 99 kilometers. There is a trendy restaurant in the Kulturquartier complex - the Gelbe Krokodil 🐊. Among other things, there is a movie brunch on Saturdays. Zaffran serves wonderful Indian food. At pauls.küche.bar.greisslerei, there are steaks and vegetarian dishes and you can also buy something to take home. Or go chic at muto, where regional products are combined to create new dishes. 🥗

As you stroll through the old town, you will pass Madame Wu's 🫖 tea store, where you can attend a traditional tea ceremony every Saturday or choose from 150 different types of tea.

Not far away is Herrengasse 🛍️, a good shopping or window-shopping alternative to the all-too-popular Landstrasse.

For Partytiger👯‍♂️ we recommend the Stadtwerkstatt - directly behind the Ars Electronica Center.
