World Savings Day - or: What we can save today

In my childhood, October 31 was first and foremost World Savings Day - for a whole week, during school hours, we made pilgrimages to the local bank branches with funny painted savings banks and colorful savings books and competed to see whose savings bank was heavier... that said little about the contents - but we didn't care at all.

This day has been celebrated in some countries since the first International Savings Banks Congress in 1924.

But how will we feel about World Savings Day in 2022?

What should we save? - It's difficult when it comes to capital.

That's why we from the pro.earth editorial team had a few thoughts on this year's World Savings Day.

What we can save (to be richer at some point):

💚 CO2

💚 Rubbish

💚 Energy (in every respect)

💚 uncontrolled consumption

💚 the one or other comment

We wish you a happy World Savings Day! 💚
