To work on a company bike

Getting around by bike is emission-free, good for your health and now also quite chic. If you don't just want to do this in your free time, but see the bike as an even more important means of transportation, you could have a chat with your employer.

Not bad at all! 💚

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte serves as a real trendsetter here, especially as he cycles as often as possible on his daily commute - including to the office. Many Dutch people do the same, making the Netherlands a pioneer in terms of infrastructure for cyclists.

At Utrecht Central Station, for example, a three-storey underground car park with 12,500 parking spaces for bicycles has been built. Admittedly, the topographical location with its topographically flat landscapes does its bit, but we are impressed by the great willingness to move around CO2-free.

In France, a purchase premium was introduced last year for bicycle buyers who scrap their old car in return.

In Austria, employers have been entitled to deduct input tax on the purchase of company bicycles with or without an electric drive since the tax reform passed in September 2019.

pro.earth conclusion:

We are moving in a good direction that is healthy AND environmentally friendly - for the sake of our grandchildren.

As a country girl, I'm sorry to say that this solution, however tempting it may sound, is unfortunately not applicable to me personally... 💚
