The Community Challenge 2023
pro.earth invites you: Save CO2 together with your fellow citizens and win the pro.earth Climate Protection Award 2023. Let the challenge begin - which municipality will be crowned Austria's most diligent CO2-saving municipality in 2023?
The pro.earth platform is now launching the Austria-wide Community Challenge in April 2023. All Austrian municipalities are being called upon to actively save CO2 in the long term by taking part in various CO2 challenges. Austrians can choose from the challenges that have now been launched on www.pro.earth.
Every individual can contribute to climate protection and together we are trying to set an example in order to keep the planet liveable for future generations. With the pro.earth community challenge, we want to continue to raise awareness of climate protection among the population.
This is how the CEO of pro.earth, Wolfgang Schwayda, sums up the ambitions of the Challenge community.
Using water consciously, buying food regionally and not wasting it, enjoying more fruit and vegetables or buying second-hand items - even small changes can make a big difference. We are constantly raffling off sustainable prizes among all participants.

On a scientific basis
All challenges are marked with a Calculation which shows the CO2 savings per capita per day. The calculations are performed by a scientific advisory boardwhich includes "climate hunter" Andreas Jäger, is checked for plausibility and accuracy. A constantly updated ranking allows participants to maintain an overview at all times and measure themselves against other municipalities.

What is pro.earth?
pro.earth is a sustainability platform consisting of a fair social media network and an online magazine dedicated entirely to the topic of sustainability and climate protection. Under the motto "Acting instead of talking", pro.earth invites users to actively participate in optimizing CO2 consumption.
