Welcome to the merry month! - Come, dear May, and make...

The world is somehow completely different in May than it was in April - but why is that?

May ushers in a completely new attitude to life

People are crowding into pavement cafés, outdoor pools are opening for the season, for all those lucky enough to have a balcony or garden, the living space is being extended by a few square meters, the menu is becoming more colourful and, according to my grandmother, you can now "go bare" (a term from an era that still had a pronounced "transitional period" in which people wore "dust coats").

Many years ago, I learned from a highly elegant Bavarian friend that white pants, for example, can only be worn in months without an "R" - according to my Frieda grandma, this also applies to walking barefoot - which makes me particularly happy.

So there's no doubt about it - May is the starting signal for a new direction

Life goes outside, what was found quietly and intimately in winter now becomes visible and sealed before everyone's eyes, whether overtly or very subtly.

We look forward to everything the merry month has to offer! 💚

Light silver clouds float
Through the first warmed air,
Mild, gently surrounded by shimmer,
The sun peeks through the scents.
Softly the wave surges and pushes
Towards the rich shore,
And bright as if washed clean,
Swaying back and forth and back,
Reflects the young green.

The air is still and the breeze silent;
What moves the branches?
Sultry love of this abundance,
From the trees through the bushes.
Now the view suddenly brightens,
Behold the fluttering of the little trees,
That moves and stirs so swiftly,
As the morning gave them birth,
Winged pair and pair.

Start weaving the roof -
Who would need this hut?
And like carpenters, the righteous,
Bench and table in the middle!
And so I am still amazed,
Sun sinks, I hardly feel it;
And now a hundred
My little love into the room,
Day and evening, what a dream!
